The research training group 2281 provides a unique research environment that brings together ambitious doctoral students, expert members of the University of Bonn economics faculty, and external academics. RTG 2281 is funded by the German Research Foundation (DFG).
Study the implications of inequality for macroeconomics and financial stability. Study the facts of inequality, now and in historical perspective. Study policy interventions using modern computational techniques.
Write your doctoral dissertation under the supervision of internationally visible experts. Become part of a renowned doctoral program.
We strongly encourage inquiries by interested students. The application process is always open. The RTG will start funding 3-year doctoral scholarships on April 1, 2018.
The scholarship pays 1200 euros plus a lump sum of 103 euros per month for a period of up to 3 years.
