Doctoral Positions in Economic Sociology and Political Economy
Research at the IMPRS-SPCE explores the relationship between the modern economy and its social and political foundations. The graduate school features a unique curriculum of core and elective courses, research methods, colloquia, and summer conferences. Doctoral researchers take part in the intellectual life of the Institute and the two universities and can spend time at partner institutions abroad. A joint German and French doctoral degree (cotutelle de thèse) in partnership with Sciences Po, Paris, is possible.
Candidates must hold a master’s degree (or equivalent) with at least 120 ECTS in political science, sociology, or related fields. The positions begin on October 1, 2023.
