Associate or Full Professor in Cyber Security

The University of St.Gallen is in the process of building up a new School of Computer Science with an innovative emphasis on entrepreneurship. We are seeking candidates for an associate or full professorship in the fields of Cyber Security.
We are looking for individuals with a PhD in Computer Science, who published their work in leading journals and are excellent teachers, preferably also in an interdisciplinary context. The successful candidate will be part of the newly founded School of Computer Science, which serves as the foundation for the Bachelor- and Master-Degree programs in Computer Science at the University of St.Gallen. The university searches for candidates with a strong research background in one or more of the following topics:
  • Cybersecurity and Privacy Protection
  • Trustworthy Information Processing
  • Threat Intelligence: Detection and Defenses
We are looking for a team-oriented and committed colleague whose research activities offer links to the established computer science chairs. Further responsibilities include teaching on undergraduate as well as graduate level within and outside of the degree programs of the School of Computer Science. For this position, we seek candidates as of February 1st 2020 or by mutual agreement.
