Assistant Professorship in Digital Performance Management (75%)
The University of St.Gallen and its School of Management are seeking candidates for an assistant professorship
in the field of Management Accounting, Controlling, and Performance Management with special
emphasis on Digitalization and Business Analytics.The new position will contribute to new insights
in financial leadership, process automatization and governance of a digitized finance and controlling
We are particularly interested in candidates with experiences in quantitative research methods rooted
in practical applications.Therefore,we also invite candidates from business informatics and statistics
with a management accounting background to apply for this position.
The new assistant professor will become a part of a dedicated research team at the Institute of Accounting,
Controlling and Auditing, benefitting from a strong research environment and excellent relations
to practice.The position also involves teaching in the Master's program in Accounting and Finance.
We are looking for an individual with both an internationally recognised research track record as well
as sound practical experiences and ideally also funding experience. Excellent English abilities are necessary,
proficiency of German language would be beneficial.
We seek candidates per February 1st 2019 or by mutual agreement for a six year period.They should
have their PhD submitted, finished, or experience after their PhD.
