Assistant Professor of Technology & Innovation Management (m/f)
located at WHU Campus Vallendar, starting September 1, 2019 or later.
WHU has more than 50 faculty members in the fields of management, finance and accounting, economics, entrepreneurship and innovation, marketing and sales, and supply chain management. Research at WHU aims to adhere to three principles: quality, internationality, and relevance to business practice.
The position is based in the Entrepreneurship & Innovation Group. The Entrepre-neurship & Innovation Group consists of international junior and senior scholars. It is dedicated to excellence in research, teaching, and corporate connections. Faculty members publish research on a variety of topics including strategy, corporate trans-formation, innovation, new product development, IP management, entrepreneurship, and family businesses in leading international journals.
Publishing high-quality research in top international journals
Teaching in the various WHU degree programs (in English)
Developing and maintaining corporate connections
Contributing to the development of the Entrepreneurship & Innovation Group
Relevant Ph.D. degree or equivalent academic qualification
Track record in research, demonstrating the potential to publish in leading journals
Teaching experience, especially in English
Outstanding English communication skills
International experience is advantageous
