- Research and development of data-based solutions and products
- Development of ML models according to reference processes, e. g CRISP-DM
- Development of automated model building pipelines, using MLOPs
- Preparation of scientific publications
- Representation of research results in the international community
- Participation in international conferences
- Transfer of research into teaching od the faculty in the focus areas: Data management and analysis
- Collaboration in applications for third-party funds and grants
Your profile
- A passion for data
- Thirst for knowledge and the urge to develop new things
- Programming skills in a relevant high-level language
- Completed Master's degree in mechanical engineering / computer science with a focus on machine learning or similar focus of related technical courses for PhD students
- Independent working style, ability to work in a team and to conduct high quality research
- Good command of written and spoken English
- German language skills are helpful but not required

The position is initially limited to three years, but can in principle be extended to up to six years and is in principle divisible.
The position will be classified in pay group 13 of the collective agreement for the public service of the federal states (TV-L), provided that the legal and personal requirements are met.
