1 PostDoc Position - 6GEM- Project (Ref.-Nr. w57-22)
Informatik 12, at the Department of Computer Science at TU Dortmund University, is responsible for the entire education and most of research for embedded systems and real-time systems. The Design Automation of Embedded Systems Group in Informatik 12 (Prof. Dr. Jian-Jia Chen) offers 1 PostDoc Position for the 6GEM project. The duration of the positions will be limited to three years. According to the public tariff regulations, the salary is based on the tariff group E13 TV-L.
The 6GEM project will explore open - efficient - secure - safe hardware/software architecture for 6G mobile communication. The 6GEM consortium combines scientific excellence and mobile communications expertise at the network, material, component/microchip and module levels in North Rhine-Westphalia.
Informatik 12 at TU Dortmund is responsible for predictable real-time end-to-end communication and computation mechanisms for 6G mobile networks. Your task is to explore the fundamentals and applications of real-time operating systems, real-time timing analyses, and predictable communication mechanics in 6G. The working language is English.
The applicants should hold a Dr. degree in the areas of Computer Science, Informatics, Mathematics, Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering.
Ideally you bring this with you:
Expertise in one or more of the following areas: “Mobile Communications“, “Real-Time Systems”, and “Embedded Systems".
