Sponsored posts (branded content) are promotional posts which academics creates on behalf of an advertising client. These posts are identified on the website and above the post with the label “Sponsored”. The author of the posts is always named as the company which commissioned the sponsored post. The posts are also marked with the label “Sponsored” on our social media channels - on Facebook, Twitter, Xing and LinkedIn. We also refer readers to these posts in the job newsletter and in mailshots.
The post, which is always labelled as “Sponsored”, is integrated into the home page, topic pages and at article level via native teasers. The content may be enriched through the use of tables, galleries and videos.
