Lakeside Labs is a science and technology cluster in the area of information and communication technology. We focus on the futureoriented topic of self-organizing networked systems. Lakeside Labs offers space for creative ideas and high-quality research on an international level. It was founded in 2008 and currently funds a team of 18 scientists, project managers, and assistants.
For our third stage of expansion, we are looking for
research staff members (PhD students, PostDocs, senior PostDocs)
with interest in one or more of the following areas:
- Artificial intelligence and decision support
- Collaborative sensing and context recognition
- Distributed time synchronization
- Multimedia systems
- Signal processing
- Theory of self-organizing systems
- Traffic informatics
- Unmanned aerial vehicles
- Wireless communications and networking
Candidates should be highly motivated to publish in high-tier journals and conferences and to attract funding from external sources. Employment will be at Klagenfurt University.
We are also looking for research managers with interest in technology transfer. Candidates should have project management skills, experience with funded projects & networking skills. Employment is at Lakeside Labs GmbH.
