Professor (W3) of Clinical Pharmacology
The position is an associate professorship within the Medical Faculty representing Clinical Pharmacology in research and teaching.
The scientific focus of the applicant has to be in the field of clinical pharmacology with a strong focus on mechanistic aspects.
The candidate is expected to participate in the education of clinical pharmacologists as well as in clinical services delivered by the Institute. In addition, the Medical Faculty expects an active cooperation of the professor with the research programs of the Institute and the Medical Faculty.
Teaching activities include lectures and courses for medical students according to the German "Approbationsordnung für Ärzte" as well as for students of molecular medicine and students of biochemistry, biotechnology and biology of the Faculty of Natural Sciences. The major teaching language is German.
Requirements by state law (§ 47 LHG) include the relevant university and doctoral degrees, an outstanding record of research and teaching achievements equivalent to a German Habilitation.
