The University of St. Gallen, Switzerland – Graduate School of Business, Economics, Law and Social Sciences (HSG) – is looking for a

Professor of Management

with special focus on Executive Education

at the HSG’s Executive School of Management, Technology and Law (ES-HSG) as from 1 February 2011 or by arrangement. Depending on the profile, the workload will be 75-100 %. The University is keen to increase the percentage of women.

 

The successful applicant will deal with problems of management from an integrated perspective in the context of the Executive MBA and in other programmes of the ES-HSG. This will include the development of existing executive education modules in this area and the conception of new courses highlighting integrated management. It is also intended that the successful applicant will take over the directorship of the Executive MBA programme. In parallel with this main task, he/she will be engaged in research and in (under)graduate  teaching at the HSG. There will be a possibility of joining an HSG institute and of thus finding an environment that will guarantee an optimal combination of functions in executive education, and teaching and research at the University.

 

We are looking for a personality with an excellent record as a lecturer at the Master’s level of executive education at a university at home or abroad, as well as a recognized research record in a core area of management. Moreover, applicants should have a wide variety of contacts to corporate practitioners and be experienced in executive education at the top management level.
