We aim at holistic learning that integrates social skills, management and engineering, and employ innovative teaching methods. The focus of this professorship is on managing the business relations between buyer and supplier in an international B-to-B environment, and not on the logistics of global sourcing. Candidates are expected to teach courses in international purchasing of investment goods, and in international management and marketing with a focus on technical companies. In addition, a contribution to our general business administration curriculum is expected. You will be working in a highly innovative environment and in a diverse and interdisciplinary team. The formal requirements for applicants are a university degree and a PhD or a comparable academic qualification. A minimum of five years of postgraduate experience is required, of which a minimum of three years must have been gained outside university. The successful applicant will initially be offered a tenured position on probation, which will automatically be changed to a tenured position when the conditions stipulated by the regional government (Baden-Württemberg) have been fulfilled.
