Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) is the result of the merger of the University of Karlsruhe and the Research Centre, Karlsruhe. It is a unique institution in Germany, which combines the mission of a university with that of a large-scale research centre of the Helmholtz Association. With 8000 employees and an annual budget of EUR 650 million, KIT is one of the largest research and education institutions worldwide.
The Karlsruhe Service Research Institute (KSRI) at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) invites applications for
PhD Scholarships in Service Value Network Research
Successful applicants will join the new interdisciplinary graduate program "Service Research - Service Value Networks" at KSRI. In close collaboration with associated industry partners, the graduate program will investigate research questions arising from complex service systems, so-called Service Value Networks. These are characterized by the co-creation of economic value by multiple independent parties and enabled by the systematic use of information and communication technologies.
The recently started graduate program offers wide prospects for interdisciplinary research in an inspiring, team-oriented, and international research environment with strong ties into industry. Therefore, we encourage applications of MSc-level graduates from a wide variety of backgrounds, as e.g. from computer science, information systems, economics, management, engineering, social sciences and related disciplines.
KIT is pursuing a gender equality policy. Women are therefore particularly encouraged to apply, if qualified, handicapped applicants will be preferred.
Detailed information on the program is available at www.ksri.kit.edu/graduate-program.
