South Westphalia University of Applied Sciences is seeking to appoint

Lecturers (m/f)

for a position in the Department of Electrical Power Engineering at Soest Campus to start as soon as possible.

Computer Science (No. 7/2010)

Focus of the responsibilities is teaching in the bachelor programme Business Administration with Informatics. This degree programme is taught com­pletely in English, addressing an international student body. The candidate must therefore be able to teach classes in English.

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Independent teaching of classes in the area of Computer Science/Commercial Information Technology (ERP, SAP, C++, basics of computer science)
  • Advising students

Requirements:

  • University degree preferably in Commercial Information Technology or computer science
  • Practical experience supervising students and/or conducting training courses
  • Technical specialization in Enterprise Resource Planning and software development

Terms of the contract:

  • The part-time position (50%, i.e. 10 hours teaching per week) is based on the state employees salary scheme (TV-L) and is limited to three years. Efforts are underway to extend the position for three additional years, however, depending on the candidate’s qualifications
  • Teaching duties are located in Soest
