South Westphalia University of Applied Sciences is seeking to appoint
Lecturers (m/f)
for a position in the Department of Electrical Power Engineering at Soest Campus to start as soon as possible.
Computer Science (No. 7/2010)
Focus of the responsibilities is teaching in the bachelor programme Business Administration with Informatics. This degree programme is taught completely in English, addressing an international student body. The candidate must therefore be able to teach classes in English.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Independent teaching of classes in the area of Computer Science/Commercial Information Technology (ERP, SAP, C++, basics of computer science)
- Advising students
Requirements:
- University degree preferably in Commercial Information Technology or computer science
- Practical experience supervising students and/or conducting training courses
- Technical specialization in Enterprise Resource Planning and software development
Terms of the contract:
- The part-time position (50%, i.e. 10 hours teaching per week) is based on the state employees salary scheme (TV-L) and is limited to three years. Efforts are underway to extend the position for three additional years, however, depending on the candidate’s qualifications
- Teaching duties are located in Soest
