The University of Paderborn (Germany) announces the following position in its Computer Science Institute at the earliest possible date:
Junior Professorship (W 1)
for Algorithmic Game Theory
(Reference Number 1212)
The employment will be based on the status as a civil servant for a fixed period of time of three years, where after positive evaluation the employment is to be extended for further three years. A continuation in a permanent employment (“tenure track“) is impossible.
Applicants should be outstandingly qualified in research and teaching in the field of Algorithmic Game Theory.
Applicants are required to be willing to cooperate and to play an active part in our main research focus “Dynamic and Self-Coordination in Networks“ at the Computer Science Institute of the University of Paderborn. In particular, applicants are expected to play an active part in our interdisciplinary scientific institutions like the Collaborative Research Centre 901 “On-The-Fly Computing“, the C-LAB, the Heinz Nixdorf Institute, the PC2, the s-lab, and the NRW International Graduate School “Dynamic Intelligent Systems“.
Conditions of employment:
§ 36, section 1, number 1 to 3 of the HG of NRW as amended on October 31st,
2006 (a full academic qualification, PhD, educational aptitude).
