The University of Neuchâtel is calling for applications for the position of

Full Professorship of Journalism (female/male)

The advertised Chair will focus on journalistic content: data sources and collection, analysis of written information / of speech, editorial styles, drafting and writing (for radio broadcasting, the internet ...), investigation-reporting-interviewing, specialised journalism.

Application procedure: Applications shall be supported by a Personal Letter, a CV setting forth the details of the candidate's teaching ex­pe­rience, recent publications and experience in the field of journalism and the media. Candidates shall put forward their views on scientific issues, the training of professional journalists and activities to be conducted. Candidates shall send their application with a copy of the titles earned by postal mail to Professor Gerald Reiner, Dean of the Faculty of Eco­no­mics and Business, Avenue du 1er-Mars 26, 2000 Neuchâtel and by electronic mail (in pdf) to doyen.seco@unine.ch. Furthermore, can­di­dates shall request three professors/experts to send a letter of re­com­men­dation by electronic mail, directly to the Chair of the Hiring Com­mi­ttee, Professor Claude Jeanrenaud (claude.jeanrenaud@unine.ch).
