The School of Business, Economics and Social Sciences at the Universität Hohenheim invites qualified candidates to apply for the position of a
Full Professor (W3) in
Statistics and
Econometrics I
at the Institute of Economics. The position is to be filled by 1 October, 2013. Preference will be given to candidates with an established research record in applied micro econometrics. The new professor is expected to conduct internationally visible research and publish in peer-reviewed journals. She/he is further expected to successfully apply for research grants. Applicants should develop courses in Statistics and Econometrics for the Schools' existing Bachelor and Master Programmes with courses being held in either German or English. Contributions to the development of a new structured Graduate Programme of the School are expected.
The position offers attractive conditions for first time, full professor appointees. Prerequisites for applications to the position are tenure or habilitation, or an equivalent research and teaching record that may have been established during a Junior or Assistant Professorship.
