WHU - Otto Beisheim School of Management

WHU – Otto Beisheim School of Management is a state-approved private institute of higher education with university status. WHU offers internationally oriented courses of study in Business Administration (MSc, BSc), a Full-time and Part-time MBA, the Kellogg-WHU Executive MBA, the Bucerius/WHU Master of Law and Business-Joachim Herz Program (MLB), a doctoral degree program as well as specialized corporate training programs. WHU is the only private institution of higher education in Germany which is a member of the German Research Association (DFG).

As part of its growth strategy, WHU's Institute of Management Accounting and Control is seeking applications for the position of

Assistant Professor in the area of
Management Accounting and Control (m/f)

starting in January, 2013 (or later).

The position is research oriented and part of the Institute of Management Accounting and Control (IMC). The appointment is initially on a fixed-term basis of three years, but can be extended by up to another three years. Candidates should have a relevant PhD degree or equivalent academic qualification and an empirical research orientation. We expect a commitment to high-quality research and close collaboration with the other researchers at the institute. The assistant professor is also expected to teach in the different WHU programs. Lectures are predominantly held in English.
