Starting with April 1, 2012, an Assistant Professor position (40 hours working time per week) is available at the Industrial Mathematics Institute for a duration of four years. Condition of employment is a PhD degree appropriate for the position.

The applicant is expected to be an expert in applied mathematics, especially in Inverse Problems. This has to be proven via publications. Besides research it is expected that the applicant will be a coworker in projects performed in cooperation with industrial partners. Moreover, teaching duties of high quality level are part of the employment (4 hours a week).
