Competitions held by the University

Once a year, an internal competition to attain the "Possehl Music Prize" is organised at the university and generously supported by the Possehl Foundation. Since 2007, the international Buxtehude Organ Competition has been held in the Gothic redbrick churches of Lübeck and attracts young organists from all over the world.
