What advantages does My academics offer me?
- When you have registered with My academics, you can set up as many personal search agents as you wish.- Your search agent will inform you at a glance about current job vacancies that match your profile of interests.
- With an email subscription you can also receive a weekly overview of all new relevant vacancies via email.
- This service is free of charge for you to use!
- Click "New registration" underneath the login field to the left.
- A registration form will open in your browser.
- Fill out the form in full, confirm the terms of use and then click "Send".
- You will shortly receive an email from us containing an activation link.
- All you need to do now is click the link in the email and you will be registered with My academics.

How do I set up a search agent?
- Once your have entered your login details, go to the job search and set your search criteria according to your requirements- Click the link "Save as search agent"
- Give your search agent a name
- To also subscribe to the search agent by email, click the relevant checkbox
How do I modify a search agent?
- As a registered user, click "Modify/delete agent" on the left hand.- Then click the "Modify" icon in the list of your search agents.
- In the modify view you can adjust the desired search agent to your current search criteria and activate or deactivate the search agent via email.
How do I delete a search agent?
- As a registered user, click "Modify/delete agent" on the left hand.- Then click the "Delete" icon in the list of your search agents (the rubbish bin).
- When you confirm the prompt, the selected search agent will be deleted.

How do I publish a job advertisement on academics.de?
You can publish job advertisements from universities and institutes from the German-speaking area for recruiting scientists and researchers from abroad in various ways:1. Print-Online combination
If you would like to place an advertisement in DIE ZEIT or Forschung & Lehre and simultaneously publish your job vacancy on academics.com, then send DIE ZEIT or Forschung & Lehre a digital document (Word document or a readable PDF) with the translated English job offer in addition to your print advertisement.
2. Online only
Simply send us your English job advertisement in the form of a Word document or a readable PDF and we will put your job advertisement online.
3. Online only with Post-a-Job
Enter your job advertisement yourself using the "Post-a-Job" tool.
You will find your contact person and information about further products from academics.com in our media details.
