The Diploma Study Programmes are gradually converted into the new Bachelor and Master Study Programmes.

Particularly talented young musicians still at school can attend the Jugendakademie [Junior Academy] where their potential is carefully nurtured.
Admission
Courses can only be started in the winter semester. Students must pass an audition.
The closing date for auditions for Diploma Study Programmes is 31 March, and for the Study Programmes for Teaching Music in Class 30 April.

Student accommodation
The University of Music and Performing Arts Munich has a total of 181 places available for students in its three halls of residence.
Scholarships
Students can apply for the University's own scholarships in the form of monthly allowances or allowances in kind. Financial support is available to students through the University's own and external scholarship funds.

Through our extensive partner institutions, students have the opportunity of studying abroad.
