In 2009, more Master programs (musicology, music education, jazz, pop, speech) will be introduced. An expansion of doctoral degrees is planned. The reorganisation of the Bachelor-Master-structure has been finished with the exception of "Schulmusik" (Music Education for Secondary School Teaching). This course is still in the process of modularization.
